Man of Steel
Amy Adams joins costar Michael Shannon in praising Henry Cavill's Superman, and then she gives a sense of what to expect from this movie's version of Lois Lane:
It was great. It was really good. Henry [Cavill] – I hope you guys love him as Superman – worked so hard. He is just yummy and really committed to the role. He really did a good job. I haven't seen the final cut and I have only seen a couple of the teasers. So I am with you guys. I know it because I was there but there was so much that I wasn't involved in that I can't wait to see.
Is there going to be humor in your interpretation of Lois Lane? We've seen the humorous Lois Lane in some movies and TV shows and other times she is more serious and very competitive with Clark Kent.
No, I think she is a little more…we will have to see. I don't know. I mean, she is definitely a pistol still and she definitely gets herself in a lot of trouble still. But she is not as competitive, I would say, with Clark.

The Wolverine
Former Judo world champion and Olympic medalist Naoya Ogawa has reportedly been spotted on the set of the movie's current Japanese location filming. Since Ogawa isn't so much an actor as he is a former Judo world champion, you'd figure that, if he does indeed have a part in the movie, it's as a guy who tries to kick Wolverine's ass, with the most likely possibility being that he's a member of the Hand. Star Trek Into Darkness
Paramount has now confirmed that that's the title of the Star Trek sequel. I've got to admit, the lack of a colon is seriously freaking me out, guys. [Deadline]
Lobo
Since Warner Bros. can't seem to get any of its more obvious superhero properties off the ground (Batman excepted, of course), they might as well turn their attention to the ones that don't seem to make much sense as movies in the first place. To wit, Lobo, a movie about the intergalactic bounty hunter and over-the-top parody of ultra-violent comic book characters, keeps making steady if incremental progress. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island's Peyton Reed is reportedly still on board to direct the thing, his leading man Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has tweeted that he might well be playing the main man, and now the movie appears to have its very own logline:
Lobo, a powerful alien bounty hunter, lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc.
It's not much, admittedly, but by the standards of Warner Bros.'s failure-ridden attempts to adapt anything that isn't Batman or Superman (or Green Lantern, I guess, but I think it's kinder to pretend that one didn't happen), this already represents a massive success. [The Grid]
How To Train Your Dragon
Dreamworks has released its complete production slate all the way through 2016, and the most exciting news is that we now have release dates for the two sequels to How To Train Your Dragon, which is one of Dreamworks' only unquestionably great movies. How To Train Your Dragon 2 — and here I think we have to congratulate Dreamworks on showing phenomenal restraint and not calling it How 2 Train Your Dragon — comes out June 20, 2014, while How To Train Your Dragon 3 is out June 18, 2016. You can check out the full list at the link. [IGN]
Horns
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe's new movie, in which he plays a man who has horns growing out of his head after the mysterious murder of his girlfriend, has added some new cast members and released a synopsis that helps explain just what the hell this thing is about, because "man who has horns growing out of his head after the mysterious murder of his girlfriend" is one of the more psychotic premises I've come across. Here's the synopsis for Piranha 3D director Alexandre Aja's movie, which adapts the novel by Locke & Key author Joe Hill:
"Horns," a supernatural thriller driven by fantasy, mystery and romance, follows Ig Perrish (Radcliffe), the number one suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend. Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses – an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend's tragedy and for exacting revenge on her killer.
This rock and roll infused dark fantasy explores why bad things happen to good people, and what the loss of true love can do to a man. The widely acclaimed book was on the New York Times best seller list for six weeks, and has become an international bestseller as well.
As for the new cast members, The Dark Knight Rises actress Juno Temple is reportedly in talks to play Radcliffe's murdered girlfriend, while The Grey's Joe Anderson and Lars and the Real Girl's Kelli Garner are in talks for unknown roles. [Movie Web]

666 Park Avenue
ABC has put out a full press release for the series premiere of their paranormal soap opera, which stars Lost's own Terry O'Quinn. Here's their comprehensive explanation of the premise:
In the premiere episode, "Pilot," when Jane Van Veen (Rachael Taylor) and Henry Martin (Dave Annable), an idealistic young couple from the Midwest, arrive in New York City, the glamorous center of industry and media, they are offered the opportunity to manage the historic Drake by its wealthy owners, Gavin (Terry O'Quinn) and Olivia Duran (Vanessa Williams) - and the seduction begins. Jane, a small town girl with big ambitions, always knew she wanted to be an architect. Henry, a member of the Mayor's staff, is grounded, intelligent and tenacious. They are lured by the intoxicating lifestyle of New York's wealthy elite. But they soon wonder what they've gotten themselves into when they unwittingly bump into the dark embrace of the building's mysterious supernatural forces which endanger the lives of their residents.
Gavin, who has many skeletons in his own closet, is at the height of his world and commands the dark power of The Drake. Olivia, his beautiful but enigmatic, supportive wife, wears her elegance, wealth and position in society like armor... but cracks will slowly be revealed.
Jane and Henry are not the only ones to fall prey to the machinations of Gavin and Olivia. There are other residents, including Brian Leonard (Robert Buckley), a young playwright pining for his early success and promise. Brian's wife, Louise (Mercedes Masšhn), is a rising hot star in the world of fashion photography. Alexis Blume (Helena Mattsson) is a troubled young woman who is the picture of obsession — what is her real connection to Gavin, and what part will she play in Brian and Louise's life? Tony DeMeo (Erik Palladino), The Drake's doorman, is the eyes and ears of the building. And then there is 14-year-old Nona Clark (Samantha Logan), who has a blossoming psychic ability, allowing her to look into the future of her fellow Drake occupants.

Neighbors
ABC has also put out an official description for its comedy about a neighborhood full of aliens. Since I have absolutely nothing to add on this one, take it away, press release:
The residents of Hidden Hills are a little... different. The Weavers have barely unpacked when 20 of their new neighbors show up in the driveway, standing in a triangle formation, each holding an identical cherry pie. Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) introduces himself as the "leader" of the community. Then he presents his wife, Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye), and their two sons (yes, they're named after famous athletes - Dick Butkus and Reggie Jackson). As Debbie and Marty frantically try to make sense of the weird neighbors - European? A cult? Amish athletes? - they discover that the entire Hidden Hills community is comprised of aliens from the planet Zabvron. 'Turns out the Zabvronians have been holed up in Hidden Hills for the past 10 years, awaiting instructions from back home, and the Weavers are the first humans who have ever lived among them.
At first the Weavers are ready to cut and run. But the aliens seem harmless enough. And there is a lot of closet space... So they decide to stay and help their new neighbors adapt to life on this confusing planet we call home. But as the Weavers and the aliens face the struggles of everyday life together, they discover that some things - the ups and downs of marriage, the desire to be a good parent and raise a happy family - are universal, intergalactic even. And the Weavers realize they've found an ally in the family next door... even if they do cry out of their ears.

American Horror Story: Asylum
Here's the latest cryptic promo, entitled "Spinning." I don't know why "Spinning" strikes me as so much more ridiculous than all the other teaser titles, but it so totally does.
The Vampire Diaries
Teen Wolf
Executive producer Jeff Davis answers the question on everyone's lip — whatever is to become of Stiles?
"They can expect him to get back to being funny, which is another reason we wanted that space of four months. We could kind of hit the reset button on the characters and put them back into a place where they begin to feel human again after all these inhuman events. We'll definitely get back to him being funny, but he's going to have more drama ahead and probably some more complications with Scott now that Scott has changed so much, too."
