The Robocop reboot adds another awesome actor to the mix. Charlie Day reveals Guillermo del Toro's larger-than-life approach to Pacific Rim. Jurassic Park 4 is seriously happening, according to the producer. Plus new videos and photos from the sets of Iron Man 3, Once Upon a Time, and Supernatural!
Spoilers from here on out!

X-Men: First Class
While screenwriter Simon Kinberg couldn't go into too many details about what will happen in the First Class sequel, he did suggest the movie will feel more epic than its predecessor:
"I can tell you that it's going really well, and I can tell you that I've been working closely with [director] Matthew Vaughn and [co-writer] Jane Goldman on the script of the movie and that we hope to be shooting in Spring of next year to come out in July of 2014 and that I'm really excited about it, because the only thing I can say, because I have to be extraordinarily vague about it, because the last time I talked to anybody about it, I got in trouble…big trouble…what I can tell you is [that] it's extraordinarily ambitious. It is unlike the other X-Men movies and yet very much a celebration of the X-Men movies... [I] think it is as dramatic as that movie, but more epic, mythic in a way as well. So, there are ideas that we've started with that haven't survived, there are ideas that we started with from conversations we had from making First Class that are going to be in the sequel.
He also says 20th Century Fox — which should probably earn a bit of credit for supporting slightly more off-beat genre projects like Chronicle and Rise of the Planet of the Apes, not to mention letting Prometheus go out with an R rating — will likely give the creative team the money and the freedom to do exactly what they want. Robocop
MGM just keeps on daring us to get legitimately excited by the thought of a wholly unnecessary Robocop remake, first by enlisting Jose Padilha, the Brazilian director of the acclaimed Elite Squad movies, and then putting together a supporting cast that includes the likes of Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Hugh Laurie. Well, we can now reportedly add to that mix Jackie Earle Haley, who has consistently been the best thing (and occasionally the only good thing) about movies as diverse as Wachmen, little Children, and that Nightmare on Elm Street remake. Haley is set to play Maddox, who provides Robocop his military training. In other news, Jay Baruchel, who has done good work in Tropic Thunder and How to Train Your Dragon, is reportedly also up for a lead role. [Deadline]
Pacific Rim
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Charlie Day, who is making what is apparently his dramatic debut in Guillermo del Toro's giant monster movie, explains how the director used CGI and practical effects to create the world of Pacific Rim. I'd advise imagining this quote in Day's voice and delivery, because it's funnier that way:
"He's found a different way to shoot CGI. Every set I walked into was built to a T, to the nines. I saw almost no actual green screen; I would be running from a monster and cars would be flipping over behind me-real cars-over my head like, ‘Oh that almost killed me,' and I knew that at some point they were gonna paint a monster in there but it's very real for me in this moment. So it was awesome and I think it's gonna be a really great movie."

Dredd
Fringe
The show is reportedly casting a "rat-like" character named Manfretti for the fifth and final season. The role may be recurring and will first appear in the second episode. [SpoilerTV]
Once Upon a Time
The show is reportedly casting a new character called Jack, described as "in his 20s or 30s, charismatic, sexy and mysterious, but also loyal and kind, and he's running from his past in a land full of danger." Assuming Jack is the name of his fairy tale character, the smart money here is probably on this being Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, although imagine the rich dramatic possibilities of this being the Jack from "Jack and Jill" (he's haunted by falling down and breaking his crown!), "Jack Be Nimble" (he's obsessed with candles!), or "Jack Sprat" (he just doesn't enjoy eating very much!). And yes, I'm aware those aren't technically fairy tales. [SpoilerTV]
American Horror Story
Carnivàle actress Clea Duvall has reportedly joined the season two cast in an unspecified role, although it's thought that she will share many of her scenes with Sarah Paulson, who returns from season one in a whole new role. Duvall is one of a number of new cast members, which already includes Big Love's Chloe Sevigny, Flash Forward's Joseph Fiennes, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, and the always great James Cromwell. Also, here's a quote on the show's new setting from creator Ryan Murphy:
"Everyone looks so different. People who were enemies last year are allies this year. The sets are amazing. It's 1964, so everything looks very different."

Supernatural
Laura Mennell previews what to expect from her character Nina:
"She has definitely reverted back to some of her old ways of pushing, to fill the emptiness that crept back into her life when the team fell apart. Last year, Nina was in a pretty good place – Rosen helped her lead more of a fulfilling lifestyle, she was starting to have relationships, people were like family to her – but after the group fell apart, she didn't know how to cope. And she blamed Rosen for that, to an extent… [giving] her a more meaningful life only to have it taken away. She definitely distances herself from everyone. Nina and Rachel (Azita Ghanazida) had such a lovely, wonderful relationship last season, but things will definitely change. It won't be in the same place." Mennell previews. "It wont be the same for Nina with anyone. I mean, she still has a soft spot for Gary (Ryan Cartwright) and always will, but she's quite separate from everyone for a while."

Booster Gold
Syfy's planned TV series about time-traveling DC Comics superhero Booster Gold is still happening, at least according to Arrow producer Andrew Kreisberg, who has been working on the pilot script:
"Yes! I'm actually turning that in next month. It was very cool; I got to meet [Booster Gold creator] Dan Jurgens last night, who created the character and the comic book, who I had never met before. So I spent a lot of time explaining to him what a fan I was, so he didn't think I was some random gun for hire who was going to ruin his baby."

Red Dwarf
Here's the first trailer for the upcoming tenth series of the once classic British sci-fi comedy. Although it's been two years since the last miniseries, twelve years since the last full series, and almost twenty years since the show was really consistently excellent... eh, the show probably still has a bit of good will left, and the early word for this new series is fairly decent. A ringing endorsement, I know. [Den of Geek]
The Vampire Diaries
The third episode of the upcoming season four will reportedly introduce the new recurring character Hayley, described as "gorgeous and wildly sexy but tough as nails." The role is currently being cast. [SpoilerTV]
Here's some additional info on Hayley:
Hayley is a friend of Tyler's and helped him break his sire bond. She didn't know he was still alive or wealthy, though, and only found out recently that Klaus hadn't killed Tyler (one of Klaus' hybrids told Hayley he was going to meet up with someone named Tyler) so she shows up at the Lockwood mansion... She has a confrontation with Damon at the Mystic Grill (she tells Damon she's in town looking for Mason Lockwood because he's missing, and Damon tells her to leave town - which she refuses to do).
Teen Wolf
Here's a trailer and short synopsis for tonight's episode, "Party Guessed."
Scott and Stiles attend Lydia's birthday party; Scott's relationship with Allison is strained; Derek locks the new wolves up.
